SMAC SC is excited to announce an official partnership with the Foundation for Educational Equity and Development (FEED), a Ghana-based non-profit organization dedicated to enhancing literacy and educational opportunities for underserved children and youth. This collaboration aims to equip SMAC SC players with valuable life skills that extend beyond the football field.
In a visit to the club, Founder & President of FEED, Paul Mensah Amanor together with his team, met with the SMAC SC players to underscore the importance of this partnership in shaping their careers and personal growth. Mr. Amanor highlighted that FEED aims to:
Improve reading and writing skills among participants, build public speaking confidence and positive self-expression, foster teamwork, discipline, and respect through interactive activities, cultivate leadership, emotional intelligence, and a growth mindset, and prepare athletes to be well-rounded, responsible citizens.
The program will cover engaging topics such as Reading & Writing, Public Speaking & Self-Confidence, Manners, Discipline & Teamwork, Personal Development & Leadership, and Digital Literacy.
A total of 26 players, aged 13-19, from different regions united by their passion for football, will participate in this initiative. SMAC SC is proud to empower its young talents not just to excel on the pitch, but to cultivate strong personalities and lay a solid foundation for success in life after football.
FEED is a non-profit organization founded in 2022, which has made a lasting impact on the lives of thousands of children across Ghana through its innovative programs. The organization has received awards and recognition from the World Literacy Awards, MTN Heroes of Change, Do Ghana Good Awards, and many more.
SMAC SC is excited about this opportunity and extends its appreciation to FEED for their commitment to nurturing the holistic development of our players. We look forward to a fruitful collaboration that enriches both our team and the community.
