From a young age, football became a central part of Marica’s life. At just six years old, he discovered his passion for the sport, growing up in a family deeply connected to football. Inspired by his two older sisters, Marica was motivated to chase his dreams and dedicate himself to the game.
His journey began with Team Move FC in Takoradi (2012), located in the Western Region of Ghana. There, he developed a strong foundation in football, learning the fundamentals and cultivating a deep love for the sport.
As he grew older, his ambition led him to seek greater challenges. This pursuit brought Marica to the prestigious Zamalek Academy (2015), renowned for developing young talent. At Zamalek, he received top-tier training, expert coaching, and the invaluable experience of competing against high-level opponents.
His next step took him to Greater Accra, where he joined Best XI (2021). This phase of his career was marked by significant achievements, as he contributed to multiple trophy wins and enjoyed great success with the team. The confidence and experience Marica gained during this time played a crucial role in his development.
Following Marica’s time with Best XI, he transitioned to Prestige Academy (2023) before ultimately joining SMAC Sporting Club(2024). It was at SMAC that he truly came into his own, refining his skills and realizing his potential. Under the guidance of the academy’s dedicated coaches and staff, he found the support and opportunities necessary to elevate his game to the next level.
SMAC Sporting Club remains a defining part of his journey, serving as the team where he has experienced the most growth and success. The lessons, experiences, and memories from his time at SMAC have been instrumental in shaping Marica into the player he is today. The skills he has developed, combined with the high-level training led by Kwadwo Asamoah, have significantly elevated his game.
Through rigorous coaching, technical refinement, and strategic mentorship, he has honed his abilities to compete at an elite level. His dedication and growth have not gone unnoticed, earning him a well-deserved spot in the National Youth Team. This achievement marks a major milestone in his career.
