Today, SMAC Sports Center and Juventus Academy Ghana were honored to host the CAF
Grassroots Festival, a dynamic and inclusive football clinic for children aged 8 to 10 years, held
at the SMAC pitch.
Organized by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) in collaboration with the Ghana
Football Association (GFA), this event brought together **150 young players** from across the
community—including selected athletes from SMAC and Juventus Academy—for a morning filled
with fun, development, and inspiration.
The festival featured a range of exciting football drills led by experienced coaches, emphasizing
teamwork, technical growth, and above all, the joy of playing the game. The field was alive with
energy, laughter, and the shared dream of football greatness.
The celebration didn’t end there. The event concluded with a thrilling Legends Match, featuring
Iconic personalities of African football, offering the young participants a rare chance to witness and engage
with national heroes of the sport.
We at SMAC and Juventus Academy Ghana are incredibly proud to have hosted this meaningful
event alongside CAF and GFA. It represents not only an investment in grassroots development
but also a moment of unity, inspiration, and hope for the future of football in Ghana.
