SMAC Sporting Club is pleased to announce that SMAC SC has been crowned champions of the Accra East District Football Association Division 3 League, Zone 4, for the 2025/26 season.
SMAC SC delivered a season of consistency, discipline, and determination to finish top of Zone 4 with 45 points from 18 matches. The team recorded 14 wins, 3 draws, and only 1 defeat, scoring 48 goals and conceding just 14. This performance reflects the commitment of the players, technical staff, and everyone working behind the scenes.
The Accra East Division 3 League is structured into four zones with nine teams in each zone. The top two teams from each zone qualify for the Middle League, where the champion earns promotion to Division 2.
SMAC SC entered the season with a clear objective of securing promotion. Although SMAC SC fell 3-0 on penalties to Teshie FA in the Middle League final, the campaign marked significant progress and set a strong standard for the future.
Individual excellence was also recognized at the end of the season. Captain Michael Armah was named Player of the Season for his leadership and consistent performances. Messi Amarteifio and Henry Nketia Frimpong finished as joint top scorers with 8 goals each and received awards for their goal contributions. Henry again received the Young Player of the Season award after registering 8 goals and 4 assists in 12 matches.
SMAC SC remains committed to its philosophy of developing young players and providing them with a platform to perform at a high level. The club will regroup and prepare for the upcoming season with the same focus on achieving promotion.
SMAC SC appreciates the support of its fans, partners, and the entire SMAC SC family throughout the season. The work continues, and the target remains unchanged.
